And experiencing the love of sharing: Actor Hemu Shetty
God's most beautiful creation, spreading joy at every moment; making life worthy and glorious: Happy Children's Day! |
School days are the most memorable days, filled with joy and happiness. Those are also the days when we nurtured our ambition to become actors, to make life more entertained, make our family valued and a better place to live in. We have grown up, but somewhere the child within us stays forever. We rightly presume that this theory applies to each and every human being. Childhood is always filled with lots of memories including growing up, arguing with siblings, experiencing school days, fulfilling friendships, celebrating crushes, loving the way we carry ourselves, sacrificing to whom we feel valued, enhancing life-values, learning from failure and losses, respecting beliefs and much more.
In India, Children’s Day, also known as Bal Divas (#HappyBalDivas), honours the awareness of people towards the rights and education of children. On this day schools organize various gatherings, celebration, events etc with little kids making us aware of its importance and the need to mix-up with teachers and school-staff which was a great fun and learning. Now, most parents play a key role in celebrating this day along with their kids and make sure that they revisit and re-evaluate their kid's dreams and desires.
Children’s day is the day (#HappyChildrensDay) we celebrate all the little ones that have been gifted into our lives. Whether you are abundant with joyful kids or not, you know how they are a source of unconditional love, laughter and joy in our homes and neighbourhoods.
During our school days, we have been told to write either through compositions, essay writings, precis writings etc. and in many instances, we browsed through sayings, phrases and well-known quotes. Many of the quotes we have read and seen through, I owe my experience and love of the Children’s day through these five of these quotes since my childhood and are closer to my heart on this very God's gifted day.
We cannot fashion our children after our desires, we must have them and love them as God has given them to us. – Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.-Albert Einstein
Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow. – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
A child can always teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason, to be always busy with something and know how to demand with all his might what you want. – Paulo Coelho
Treat your kid like a darling for the first five years. For the next five years, scold them. By the time they turn sixteen, treat them like a friend. Your grown up children are your best friends. – Chanakya
Remembering the childhood days Actor Hemu Shetty recounts, “The nicest of Children’s Day is that you can continue celebrating this day no matter how old you are. Although if you want to celebrate in a more consistent way at your age you can share the above five phrases that make us remember those experiential years of Happy Children’s Day we had spent joyfully with our near and dear ones. Let’s share these beautiful quotes and messages to our beloved children on this God-gifted special day through #HappyBalDivas and #HappyChildrensDay and make them feel more loved”.
This also reminds us of the other problems such as the underprivileged, orphans and ignored children across the world. Let’s not forget that International Children’s day is also a reminder for us about the children’s who are not privileged of better life — children who have nothing to eat, who are abused, or trafficked. Let us remember and try to do one small thing to help alleviate these world problems.
